We offer you the opportunity to apply and enrol online for a study place. You will be guided through the application process step by step.

Application Period:

Winter Semester: from approx. 06.05. // Summer Semester from approx. 15.12.

Very important: Incomplete applications will not be processed!

Application procedure via the University Admissions Foundation: 

If you are interested in one of the following Bachelor degree programs in the first semester, you will first have to register at the University Admissions Foundation in Dortmund via the following link: https://dosv.hochschulstart.de/bewerber. Once you have successfully registered with hochschulstart.de, you must also register here in PORTA. You can then log in to PORTA and create and submit your application online.
You will receive notification of admission or rejection in the Hochschulstart portal. You can accept the offer of admission there.

If you have been offered a place of study, you will be informed by „Hochschulstart“.

Application procedure for all other degree programs:

Before you can start an application you need to register. Afterwards you will receive a registration link by e-mail. Please follow the instructions in the e-mail to receive access to the application procedure.
In a second step, select the desired degree program and complete the required information. Please note that this step – i.e. application for a degree program – is possible only during the application period. More information about key dates and application periods: bewerbungsfristen.uni-trier.de

A note on the admission restricted Master application:
Changes to the application status will be displayed as a notification within the application portal. You should regularly log into the application portal to view the status of the application/registration procedure.
